Chocolate cake with an extra portion of protein!

This chocolate protein cake is not only incredibly delicious, but also rich in protein and perfect for anyone looking to increase their protein intake. It's great as a dessert or post-workout snack to support muscle recovery. Here is the prescription:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.

  2. For the dough: In a large bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, eggs, chocolate protein powder , cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Add sweetener to taste and stir well until a smooth dough forms.

  3. Pour the dough into a cake pan lined with baking paper and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  4. While the dough is cooling, prepare the filling. In a bowl, mix the low-fat quark with the chocolate protein powder and sweetener until a creamy mixture is formed.

  5. Cut the cooled cake in half horizontally and spread the lower half with the chocolate protein cream. Place the top cake layer back on top.

  6. Garnish the cake with fresh berries and possibly some powdered sugar.
